Our school
Parkview Elementary School is located in Granby, Quebec and serves the municipalities of Granby, St-Alphonse-de-Granby, St. Césaire, St. Paul d’Abbotsford, Ste-Cécile-de-Milton, Roxton Falls, Roxton Pond and Shefford.
Parkview was formerly Granby High School, and when Massey Vanier Regional High school opened its doors in the Fall of 1969, the school became Parkview Elementary School with Mr. William Munroe remaining at the helm as Principal. The school building dates from 1940 and has undergone many renovation projects since. It was one of the many elementary schools belonging to the District of Bedford School Board, and it is now a part of the Eastern Townships School Board.
Parkview Elementary is very fortunate to be the beneficiary of a trust fund bequeathed by Mr. John Bradford. This fund allows the school to invest in projects and programs that enrich its student’s educational experience as per Mr. Bradford’s wishes.
Parkview’s population continues to increase enrolment yearly. Our students are primarily francophone, coming from all socioeconomic groups. We are fortunate to offer two Kindergarten classes for 4 year olds.
